Excellent German restaurant with a great and varied menu. Great service and atmosphere. If you want to have a lunch or dinner, this should be a good place to visit.

Wonderful food, genuine German beer, great service. Can't ask for more than that. Also the price was very reasonable.

The decor is a stunning mix of vintage German images, European license plates, and modernity. Every table or booth was wooden, and gives you the feeling like you're in the black forest. We ordered a couple of drinks and their jagerschetezel (German specialty) entree. As we use to live in German for multiple years throughout my military service, I can tell you that this restaurant is excellent . Everything from their customer service, quality and quantity of food, and affordability are in a league of their own. I'm positive that we'll be returning for another visit, the next time we're in the area.

Why did I only find this restaurant this week? Thanks to Yelp, I did find it. And I've eaten there twice since discovering the restaurant. I had Sauerbraten the first time and Wienerschnitzel the second time. Both were excellent. I have visited Germany quite a few times, and this restaurant serves real, authentic, hearty German fare. The sides are excellent. I've had the red cabbage, spaetzel, roasted potatoes, and potato salad. All were wonderful. Even the pre-dinner salad is good and is very much like what you get in Germany. I will be back!

We were thrilled to return to HH this afternoon for the first time since Helene's unfortunate visit. As always, the service was very good. My Wife and I both thought that the food was better than ever. Well done and thanks for providing such wonderful German fare!

Tried for our first time, absolutely delicious food, incredibly nice service, very reasonable prices, super nice staff, decorated comfortably with cool German music, will definitely be back again!

We had heard about this place for years and finally made the short drive from Asheville only to find that we had seriously been missing out! Not being well versed in German fare, we trusted in our in our impressively knowledgeable server to guide us and boy was she on point! The sausage sampler appetizer was the perfect beginning. It was served with the expected mustard side but the curry ketchup? stole the show! I wish I had begged for a jar to take home. The house sampler platter gave us an opportunity to truly get a taste of the multitude of options available and the Schnitzel Royale was also a hit with the best potatoes I have ever been served! (Don't neglect to take advantage once again of the curry ketchup with these as well,) We would have left perfectly satisfied yet we took one more leap of faith in the staff and ordered the Boozy Peach parfait? I remember being told the peaches were doled in cognac but there had to have been some sorcery involved to create that level of magic. Already planning our next trip! And looking forward to introducing our friends and family to this gem!

Free parking, good food, cool things to look at, nice waitress, AND leftovers?? I'll be back lol. It was very fun trying out all the new things I can't find anywhere else.

Love this restaurant they play authentic German music in the background. The atmosphere is very cozy warm and inviting. The food is phenomenal authentic taste. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy German food.
